Everything a case needs, from first call to final judgment.

Try the case

22 integrated trial modules

Witnesses, exhibits, depositions, timeline, theory of the case, elements checklist, motions in limine, jury selection, jury instructions, pre-trial checklist, trial log — one matter, one file.

Discovery Review

Work through productions level by level — from first-pass triage to hot-document analysis — with AI reading alongside you on extracted text.

Deposition engine

Build outlines from the case theory, run the deposition against them, and hand the transcript straight to drafting.

Drafting Studio

190+ drafting skills across Florida, federal and practice-area work — motions, discovery, correspondence — each producing a draft grounded in your matter file, ready for attorney review.

Brief Bank

Your firm's best work, searchable — find the brief that made this argument before by its words, its title or the cases it cites.

Your firm's own drafting skills

Point at the motion, letter or agreement this firm considers its model and Trial Commander derives a drafting skill from it — the section outline, how this firm writes, the facts a drafter must have in hand. An attorney approves it before anyone can use it, and every draft it produces is for attorney review.

Search that reads inside the file

One box over matter records, the text of your documents and your logged calls: the passage containing the phrase, highlighted, with a link to the exact page. Facets narrow it, the URL is the state, and nobody sees a passage from a matter they could not already open. Filed email is encrypted, so it is found from the matter's own Email page.

Task checklists by stage

The firm's opening checklist lands on the file when the matter opens; the discovery routine lands when discovery starts. Each task says what done looks like, cites the manual section behind it, and goes to a person by role. My Tasks is the same work across every matter, overdue first.

Your deadlines in Google Calendar or Outlook

Connect your own Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 calendar and the open deadlines on your matters are pushed to it, updated when a deadline is added, moved, completed or deleted; a confirmed consultation goes to the attorney's calendar too. The connected calendar's own events show beside the matter calendar, so the rest of your day is in view. Or subscribe to a read-only feed from any calendar app.

Run the firm

IOTA trust accounting

Per-matter ledgers, three-way reconciliation, disbursement guards, and Rule 4-1.5 fee gates that stop a bad transfer before it happens.

Chronicle — time drafted for you

Entries are drafted from your calendar, your emails and, where your firm connects a phone provider, your calls — then held for your review. Adjust, approve, invoice; nothing bills without you.

Ledger — financial forensics

Drop in bank statements and get a classified, reconciled picture of the money — built for the cases where the money is the story.

Client portal — EN / ES

Clients see their matter, sign documents, and get answers from Maria in English or Spanish — with your team always one tap away.

Word add-in — ten tools on the ribbon

Trial Commander has a group on Word's Home tab and a tab of its own: save the open document to a matter, fill one of the firm's templates, insert the matter's caption block or a citation from the Brief Bank, redline against the last saved version, check the draft against the matter record and build its table of authorities, log time in one click, and finalize — file it, make the PDF through the matter's own OneDrive folder, stamp it as an exhibit, and get the service list. Drafting, the selection tools and cite-check are AI and need the Silver plan or above; the rest are on every plan.

Outlook add-in — including a send check

Log an email to a matter, send one to Trial Commander with a click, attach a document from the matter while you write, find the deadlines an email names and add them, and log time for it. And a send check: as a message goes, Trial Commander warns you if an outside recipient is not a contact on the matter the others are on, or if an attachment is a document the matter keeps as privileged. It is a warning with Send anyway one click away, never a block, and it says nothing when nobody on the email is on a matter.

Ask Trial Commander

A question box that answers from the manuals and your firm's own records, and shows the sources it used. Press Command-K anywhere, or open it from Q&A and Self Help. An answer worth keeping can be promoted so the next person asking gets it word for word.

Choose the practice areas you see

A firm picks its practice areas when it signs up, so eighteen of them are not dropped on it at once, and a firm administrator changes the list whenever the work changes. It narrows what is shown, never what you may do: every area stays one click away, and opening a matter in a new area brings it back on its own.

Works where you work

Installable on phone and desktop with push notifications, and a hosted MCP server — 32 tools — for connecting the Claude or ChatGPT you already pay for, per firm, permissioned.

Conflict-first intake

One person from lead to contact to client, with the conflict check that cleared them on the file. Consultations without a check warn; hits route to the attorney who can decide them; every check is on a log.

Consultations, booked

The firm chooses how: a prospect takes a real open time on a bookable attorney's calendar, or the same click becomes a request the front desk confirms. Sent, booked, confirmed, cancelled and no-show all land on the contact's timeline, and a confirmed consultation is pushed to that attorney's Google or Outlook calendar. The booking page says, in the firm's name, that booking is not representation and stops no deadline.

Folders for every document

The practice area's folder template is on a matter from the first paint — Medical Records, Bills & Liens, Experts — and every file lives in it, whether it was uploaded here or synced from OneDrive. Upload into a folder, drag to move, or drop the tree entirely and group by category instead.

Send any document for signature

Any PDF on a matter goes out for signature on its own private link. The signer reads the consent 15 U.S.C. § 7001(c) requires before a signature box exists, can download the document, and signs typed or drawn. What comes back is a new PDF: the original unaltered, plus a signature page with each signer's name, time in UTC and Eastern, IP address, browser and the original's SHA-256.

Saved views and bulk actions

Name a set of filters, a sort and the columns you want, and it becomes a tab on the matter list — yours, or published to the firm. Tick rows to assign, tag, close or export in one press; a matter that cannot close because money is still in trust is refused by name, with the reason, and the rest go through.

Reports

WIP aging, realization, pipeline by practice area, referral-source performance, SOL exposure and area profitability — each with its filters, its caveats printed under the figures, CSV and PDF, and a monthly email with the numbers in the body. A figure narrowed by who is reading it says so.

A notification centre

Every kind of notice the app can send, on one page, with its own switch for the bell, email and push and a line saying when it arrives. A daily digest at an hour you pick, in your timezone, and a mute-all-email button for a day in trial. The few nobody may refuse — an overdue trust reconciliation, a broken audit chain — say why.

Merge two records for one person

When the same person was entered twice, one screen enumerates everything that would move — matters, conflict checks, intakes, fee agreements, leads, portal invitations, including the rows that are zero — before a row is written. The record merged away is archived, not deleted, so old links still resolve. New contacts warn on a name the firm already has, without blocking.

A guided first week

A getting-started card gives one next step, why it matters and the button that does it; the full checklist ticks itself off the firm's own data, so nothing is recorded twice. One click adds a complete sample matter, badged SAMPLE, kept out of every firm number and deleted in one click when the learning is done.

Fee agreements on the matter

Every matter's fee agreement on file and sent for signature on the same link every other document uses; flat-fee packages per practice area with an area profitability report; referral and co-counsel divisions tracked and disclosed.

Matter numbering & parties

Choose the firm's numbering scheme once — year-sequence, sequence, area-year-sequence, or client-sequence — and the number is minted on save. Every party on its own row: the conflict sweep reads them, and service deadlines fan out per defendant.

Firm intranet & Marketing Hub

A notice board and staff directory, free on Silver and above. And the firm's one public page, findable by search engines — nothing publishes without an attorney's Rule 4-7 sign-off.

QuickBooks Online

Intuit-approved for production. On Gold and above, customers, invoices and payments push one way to the firm's own QuickBooks Online company, with every push recorded so a retry never duplicates. A firm administrator connects it at Settings → QuickBooks; Trial Commander stays the book of record.

Legal data, checked daily

More than 40 monitored primary sources — statutes, rules, rate tables, holiday calendars — checked every day. A change at the source is flagged for a person to re-verify and acknowledge; nothing edits your data on its own.

The law layer

The platform above runs for a firm anywhere in the United States. The clocks below carry a jurisdiction’s law, and each one reaches a matter only in the jurisdiction a licensed attorney verified it for: federal courts nationwide, and state law specific to each jurisdiction. Where we practice →

An official rules library holds the civil court rules of every jurisdiction we serve today — the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration, the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Rules of Civil Procedure, and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure — each rule set taken from the court’s or bar’s official publication.

Federal removal and remand clocks

On the matter: the 30-day removal window per defendant, the one-year bar on diversity removal, the notice to the state court, the 30-day motion to remand, and the ten-day appeal window under § 1453(c) — 28 U.S.C. §§ 1441–1455, each row naming its statute, counted under FRCP 6(a).

The Federal Rules calendar

Tell a matter which of the 94 district courts it is in and Federal Clocks renders what the Federal Rules make of it: the Fed. R. Civ. P. docket-event chain, the Fed. R. Crim. P. chain, and the five Fed. R. Evid. pre-trial notice periods, each row naming its rule, counted under Rule 6(a) against that district's own calendar, from the December 1, 2025 editions. The page says plainly that local rules are not computed and that the judge's scheduling order supersedes almost every civil default on it.

Florida court deadlines

Deadline chains computed from trigger dates, with the calendar math a court expects — Florida Rule 2.514 counting, the statutory court holidays, each circuit's own designated days where we have verified its published schedule (with a note on the deadline where we have not), and court closures your firm records.

Firm-wide limitations net

SOL Watch reads every open matter in the firm, no cap, and lists the claims with no accrual date at all — designed so bar dates surface in every view.

Personal injury, end to end

Demand package assembled from the matter, a firm-wide offer board, PIP clocks and HB 837 disclosures, and one flow from settlement through liens and fees to disbursement on the trust ledger.

Criminal defense clocks

Speedy-trial and discovery clocks, the sentencing scoresheet, seal-or-expunge eligibility, and a motion library — on the same trial core civil litigators use.

Medical malpractice presuit

The ch. 766 presuit investigation and notice clocks computed on the matter, with the statute beside each date.

Florida money math

Judgment interest on the § 55.03 quarterly table through Q4 2026 and the ch. 222 exemptions analyzer.
