Leave PracticePanther without leaving anything behind.
Records reconciled to the penny. Documents in your own OneDrive, exactly where they already are. Thirty-one days from first export to cancelled subscription — and the proof at every step.
Thirty-one days, five steps
Pull your PracticePanther exports with our step-by-step packet. Upload. The dry run shows exactly what will import — nothing is written yet.
Your trust ledger must reconcile to the penny against PracticePanther's own reported total, or the importer refuses to run. Then execute — with a 7-day rollback.
Your client documents almost certainly live in OneDrive or SharePoint already. Map folders to matters — or create matters straight from your folder tree — and documents file themselves, subfolder structure intact.
All new work happens in Trial Commander. Keep PracticePanther read-only while you spot-check balances, statements, and matters.
Records here. Documents in your own OneDrive. Nothing left behind that you still need.
Proof, not promises
Migration fear is rational. This is how the importer earns trust instead of asking for it:
Your imported trust transactions must reconcile — to the penny — against the total PracticePanther itself reports, and any historical overdraft under Fla. Bar Rule 5-1.1 blocks the import entirely. We would rather refuse your data than import a compliance problem.
Nothing is written until the dry-run report shows you every count, every skip, and every issue. Execution produces a permanent receipt, and a 7-day rollback removes the entire batch if something looks wrong.
Documents sync from your firm's own OneDrive or SharePoint — folder structure preserved, matters creatable straight from your folder tree. Deleting a file in OneDrive never deletes it from a matter, so a synced folder is not a way around litigation holds.
Do the arithmetic
PracticePanther bills per user. Trial Commander is one price for the firm. Slide to your headcount and compare our published prices with theirs.
PracticePanther prices are their published per-user monthly rates with annual billing, verified August 2026 at practicepanther.com/pricing — check current pricing yourself. Trial Commander prices are our published plans (see pricing); AI usage allowances and optional add-ons are listed there.
What moves — and what doesn't
- Contacts, matters, time entries, expenses, invoices, payments
- Trust transactions — reconciled before anything is written
- Documents, via OneDrive/SharePoint sync with subfolders intact
- Your matter list itself — creatable directly from your folder tree
- PracticePanther notes, tasks, and custom fields — re-enter what still matters
- Calendar events — Trial Commander has its own calendar and deadline engine; recreate the dates that count
- eSignature history and client payment history stay in their systems
And what we don't have yet, plainly: no native mobile apps (installable web app instead), no client credit-card payments, SMS pending carrier registration. QuickBooks Online sync is built and in Intuit's production review.
